From the images that are pictured in the Working with Evidence section I chose to focus on source 2.3. In source 2.3 it is a figurine of a women from this statue we can see that women are viewed as beautiful and amazing beings. From this statue I can assume that this women holds some type of power or wealth, she is wearing a lot of jewelry, but I am unsure on why she has no clothes on. She has her head held up high with her chin in the air so she is powerful and confident all at once.
Which statement of Tacitus might you regard as reliable, and which are more suspect? Why? I do not think that we can take any statements from Tacitus as reliable except for statements that are purely factual. This is because it states that Tacitus never visited the lands of the people he described. He only relied on others works of writing and story telling. We cannot regard him as reliable becuase we do not even know if there is any credibility in his statements.
